parts of speech

A category of words based on their function in a sentence (e.g., noun, verb, adjective).

passive

Passive forms are clauses in which the recipient of an action is the grammatical subject (e.g. He was attacked). Passive forms are formed by using verb to be as an auxiliary, and putting the main verb in the past participle form. S+BE+past participle.

Passive voice

A grammatical construction where the subject of the sentence is acted upon by the verb (e.g., The book was read by Mary).

peer teaching

A method where students teach each other, enhancing their understanding through interaction.

Pelmanism

Pelmanism was a system of brain training but is basically matching paired cards after turning only two over at a time.

Personalized Learning

An educational strategy that customizes learning experiences to meet the individual needs, preferences, and interests of each student.
